The best New Orleans sea food I have ever eaten. Out of all the restaurants from my week stay in New Orleans, this was the best. I discovered it on yelp on a trip to target. I got the seafood sampler combo. The chicken and sausage gumbo was amazing!! The fried shrimp was delicious, as well as the nice flat strips of catfish. Served with fries I was amazed. Don't forget the hush puppies. Like a fried donut. My wife got the boiled shrimp and she said it was flavorful and plenty. 5 stars all the way. Free parking too, unlike in the French quarter.

We can't say enough about how great our Christmas lunch for 40 people went today! We booked the private room for a set price per person that included tip and gratuity. The 3 course meal had an option of about 7 entrees to choose from, and was delicious and filling. Many took home go-plates. Alise(sp?) and Derone(sp?) waited on our group and provided attentive, pleasant, and first-class service. We would not think twice about booking Don's Seafood again for a group, or just stopping in for a meal.

Very Friendly Staff, Nice Atmosphere, Great Food. My sever Derone recommended a great dish, the Fouchon. I enjoyed my dining experience at Don's Seafood.

Came tonight with some friends and food was great . All seafood was crazy good but beans and rice were amazing plus service was great !!

The brunch menu was rather impressive and reasonably priced. Suggest the shrimp and grits and the Cajun latte. During my recent visit, I dined at the bar as a way to get in and out. Our server was personable and attentive. So much so that I'd be inclined to dine at the bar again if he's there. There's no shortage of tables and booths throughout, in addition to outdoor seating. If you're a fan of Bloody Mary's, they were about $5 or $6!
